Hello!

The hotter, slightly slower summer months are ending and the city bursts into full festival and event mode as the fall approaches. New Orleans is kickstarted back into life with the arrival of the football season, of course, with the New Orleans Saints returning to the Superdome – just to remind you that almost all of our properties are within very easy traveling and even walking distance to the stadium! Then, let the festivals begin! The two biggest music festivals are the great Gretna Fest and also The Blues and BBQ Festival, a seasonal extension of spring’s JazzFest. If you’re into yoga, coffee or fried chicken, we’ve got you covered with festivals dedicated to those interests, too! Of course, the biggest event on the horizon is Halloween, and let’s be honest, there’s no more evocative and spooky a city than New Orleans for this annual celebration! Ghosts in the Oaks, Krewe of Boo! parade and the citywide costuming and house decoration for the night itself are all worth coming into the city for. This time of year really is an exciting and dynamic time to be here – but look for and book your rooms as early as you can, these events draw crowds and you don’t want to miss out. The onsite hosts at your lovely, legal and licensed bed and breakfast inns can guarantee that you make the most of your time here, no matter what your plans. We can’t wait to welcome you this fall!
